Delete your account and data

ScrollBrake accounts are created only when you use Google Sign-In. Guest mode creates no cloud account.

Delete inside the app

1. Open ScrollBrake.
2. Open Settings.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm the deletion. Google may ask you to sign in again for security.

This deletes the Firebase Authentication account, contact requests associated with its user ID, and local ScrollBrake settings and history on that device.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address associated with your ScrollBrake account. Use the subject “ScrollBrake account deletion” and ask us to delete your account and associated data.

Email a deletion request

We may ask you to verify account ownership. Verified requests are completed within 30 days unless information must be retained to meet legal or security obligations.

Data that may remain

Aggregated or de-identified analytics that can no longer be associated with an account may remain in Firebase reports. Removing an account on one device does not automatically erase local data on another device; clear ScrollBrake storage or uninstall it on those devices.
